Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle gave a how to get women in politics lecture at the Hawaii State Capitol a few months ago.
In her speech she asserted that she is not gay.Not that anyone cares but she may have been lying to keep her GOP veep potential alive. During the Q&A someone in the audience asked her about her name coming up as a potential VP candidate. Lingle said that she wasn't.Lingle's message to the women in the audience who were interested in running for office seemed to be that it is alright to BS and lie if it might help your campaign. She most likely will run for higher office in two years with strong support from the Jewish Republican Coalition.
