More blame towards FEMA for Katrina response...from the pot to the kettle...

...WHEN HOMELAND SECURITY GOT MOST OF THE FUNDING THAT DESTROYED FEMA'S EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT CAPABILITY AND DIVERTED IT TO "TERRORIST PREVENTION" PROGRAMS!!!

I've worked with FEMA folks for 10 years in helping to deploy civilian federal employees to hurricanes over that same amount of time. It's a fucking crime how FEMA is the scapegoat here when Congress and George W. Bush did everything but shovel dirt on it since 2001.
