Robin Tyler and Diane Olson, the only gay couple married in LA County on the first night (Mon) that same-sex marriages are legal in California.
They deserve special treatment, though, as it was their case that started the whole thing!

Robin and Diane were the only same-sex couple married on Monday **in Los Angeles County** but there were many California counties that held marriage ceremonies last night for one or more gay or lesbian couples!
Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon were the first in SF, married last night by Mayor Newsome, who also married them first in 2004. Mayor Dellums of Oakland married an ethnically diverse group of local couples last night.
Dozens of other same-sex couples were married last night, from Santa Rosa to San Diego, and hundreds more are marrying today!
